Due to evacuation orders in neighbourhoods surrounding Nasser Hospital -and continuous hostilities in the vicinity of the hospital, the Ministry of Health reports that large numbers of wounded people are situated on the hospital grounds.
The communications and fuel shutdown continues to significantly hinder the aid community’s efforts to assess the full extent of needs in Gaza and to adequately respond to the deepening humanitarian crisis.

The actions on the ground, combined with the Israeli leadership’s explicit calls for the ethnic cleansing of Gaza and Defense Minister Gallant’s recent statement that once the ‘humanitarian pause’ is over, the Israeli army will resume intensive fighting for at least two more months, warn of either a possible mass deportation of Gaza’s civilian population into Egypt, or a permanent transfer of civilians from the north to the south of Gaza, both in clear violation of international law.
