No amount of dedication and goodwill is enough to keep millions of people alive, fed and protected – while the bombs are falling and the aid is choked off.
The actions on the ground, combined with the Israeli leadership’s explicit calls for the ethnic cleansing of Gaza and Defense Minister Gallant’s recent statement that once the ‘humanitarian pause’ is over, the Israeli army will resume intensive fighting for at least two more months, warn of either a possible mass deportation of Gaza’s civilian population into Egypt, or a permanent transfer of civilians from the north to the south of Gaza, both in clear violation of international law.
